Who we are
statementsplit.co.uk is run by J. Chisholm, trading as statement-split. Contact: support@statementsplit.co.uk.
What the service does
It reads a letting-agent statement you upload and sorts its lines into HMRC's UK property categories, checks they add up to what you were paid, and gives you a spreadsheet. It doesn't send anything to HMRC and it isn't tax advice. You're responsible for checking the figures before you use them, and for what you submit.
Prices and credits
Your first statement is free. After that you buy statement credits: £2.99 for one, £9.99 for four, or £24.99 for twelve. One credit reads one statement. A credit is only used when a statement is read successfully. Credits don't expire. They're linked to the private credit link shown after you pay. Keep it safe: anyone with the link can use the credits. If you lose it, email us with your payment receipt and we'll restore them.
Refunds
Unused credits are refunded on request. If a statement isn't read properly, tell us and we'll put the credit back. This doesn't affect your legal rights.
Our responsibility
We work hard to get the figures right, but the tool can make mistakes, which is why it shows every line for you to check. To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything to do with the service is limited to what you paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.
Changes and availability
This is an early service. We may change it, or these terms, and will say so on this page. We try to keep it running but can't promise it will always be available.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
